An interesting find. The past is truly another world, but one that we can still visit vicariously.
After having taken one forensic anatomy / anthropology taught by the legendary Dr. William Bass, I became an armchair anthropology student / ” armchair archeologist “, even though I only handled 2 skulls & a handful of vertebra that were destined to be re – interred out in the U.S. Southwest ( I forget which tribe they belonged to ).
This article mentions a quartz ornament on one of the skulls, but didn’t include any pictures of it. perhaps it had a religious / spiritual significance ?
This does sound QUITE INTERESTING.
