You think you’re being observed, but you turn around to find an empty parlor, den, lobby, store – room, or whatnot. You are confused, suspicious, & maybe just a tad apprehensive or scared.
You feel the chill of what may be, to use the slang term, a ” spook “. Or a revenant, phantom, poltergeist, or ghost. Is it going about its business, or does it bear jealousy or ill – will towards the mortals invading the space it normally inhabited in its time in the flesh ? Or perhaps curiosity ?

Have any of you had an encounter that you can’t explain by rational means, that could be expanded into a short – to – moderate story ?
